Students with a disability or chronic illness and students with children who incur particularly high costs during their stay abroad (e.g. for accessible accommodation or an accompanying assistant) can alternatively submit a so-called “real cost application”. In this application, the additional costs must be explained in detail and can then be reimbursed up to an amount of 15.000 € per semester.
This application for coverage of real costs can also be submitted by lecturers and employees with a disability or chronic illness; see below. Please contact the International Office in due time in order to submit an application.
