Office of the Examination Boards

The examination boards of the departments at Folkwang University of the Arts form a joint examination board office. This is the coordination and support office for examination matters at the university and is therefore the point of contact for questions for which the examination boards are responsible.

The area of responsibility includes

  • Attending meetings of the examination boards and taking minutes,
  • Support in the interpretation and application of examination regulations and other examination law provisions, taking into account higher-ranking law,
  • Advising the examination boards and examination offices on legal issues relating to the recognition procedure,
  • Coordinating changes to examination regulations,
  • Processing appeals against decisions of the examination boards.
