Folkwang StudiScouts

A pilot project of university communication

How can Folkwang students better incorporate their views of the university into communication? How can they become more visible and audible both externally and internally? How can student projects, ideas, opinions and work be tracked down so that they can be reported on via the university's various communication channels? These and other questions were the impetus for the Folkwang StudiScouts project. The Folkwang StudiScouts are students from the Folkwang departments who enjoy reporting on current events or student projects, researching topics relevant to students, making the content of everyday educational life visible and presenting all this in text, sound or images.

The work of the Folkwang StudiScouts includes researching blogs, setting up student networks if necessary, attending events, interviewing those involved - in short, it's about scouting interesting topics that may have been neglected in everyday university communication and describing them in their own texts.

Folkwang StudiScouts is a central project of the Folkwang University of the Arts, located and supervised by University Communications. It is funded by the Commission for Quality Improvement in Teaching and Studies.

The Folkwang StudiScouts are:

  • Annelie Schrötter, Department 1, Integrative Composition (B.Mus.)
