Instrumental Training – Master of Music

This postgraduate course is the highest-level professional qualification course for a soloist training in the following fields: orchestral instruments, keyboard instruments and other instruments. It is exclusively aimed at students with particular soloistic skills, and it covers the “wide” repertoire of the relevant instrument as well as playing with the orchestra.

The course’s main focus is instruction in the major specialist area. Students are prepared for concerts and competitions and such like, which should smooth their way to a life as a concert artist.

Please note: Prospective students for a master’s course with a major in early music, contemporary music, chamber music, vocal duo for pianists or instrumental duo with pianists should apply for the M.Mus. Instrumental Specialisation (formerly called Instrumental Training)
