What is an RSS feed?

An RSS feed is a direct information channel. Whenever we publish an article, it is routed via this channel – and you will receive an announcement on it by means of utility programs or website pages. This way, all of our articles are delivered to you just as if you had taken out a subscription. Or alternatively, you can limit the feed to a particular thematic area you prefer.

How do I receive a feed?

Many current browsers already have RSS functionality integrated in them, enabling you to view announcements (messages) directly in the browser itself. By clicking on an RSS feed, the options available will be displayed for you. In the event that an RSS feed functionality is not integrated in your browser, you then have to install a browser plug-in.

You can also subscribe to feeds in a large number of email programs. These will then appear in a new inbox alongside your emails.

Alternatively, you can install a feed reader for your platform (Mac/PC) and your type of device (computer, mobile telephone or tablet). There is a large selection of free programs available for this purpose.
