The Student Affairs Department at Folkwang University of the Arts is responsible for a wide range of organisational tasks for students and prospective students, e.g:
Information/counselling for applicants and students
- Acceptance of application documents, invitations to aptitude tests
- Administrative and organisational tasks relating to the aptitude test
- Application and admission procedures for applicants
- Enrolment for studies (matriculation)
- Maintaining student files
- Issuing access data for student e-mail accounts
- Re-registration
- Creation and issue of student ID cards and NRW tickets
- Notification of loss/replacement of Folkwang Card and NRW-Ticket (form available from the respective student secretariat)
- Leave of absence, extension of studies and lessons, change of teacher (applications can be obtained from the relevant department)
- Study period and pension certificates
- Changes to personal data
- Posting of fees and dunning procedures
- Refunds
- Health insurance matters
- Accident reports (students)
- Notarisation of Folkwang degree documents
- Guest students (further information and application), secondary students
- Exmatriculation
