Application for aid fund

You will be guided through this application in 3 steps:

  1.     Personal details
  2.     Details of your financial situation
  3.     Uploads

Please note that you can only submit the application once all the information has been entered. Unfortunately, it is not possible to save the application temporarily.
Your detailed justification of the application will be requested as a PDF in the 3rd step under ‘Uploads’.
You will find a wide range of online tools for creating PDF documents via the usual Internet search engines.
You are welcome to click through the application in advance or enquire about all the necessary information and documents on the homepage.

Your application will be treated confidentially.

The following information is required from you for a aid fund application:

  • Personal information (name, gender, address, contact details, date and place of birth)
  • Bank details (IBAN, BIC, bank institute)
  • Information about your studies (course of study, major if applicable, semester)
  • Details of your financial situation:
    • Income (earned income, BAföG, money from parents/relatives/friends, scholarships, other regular income: e.g. housing benefit, child benefit, etc.)
    • Expenses (warm rent incl. heating, electricity, health insurance)

You must also submit the following documents as an upload:

  • Detailed justification of the application (PDF, max. 1 page).
    Describe: Do you have special expenses? Why are you in a financial emergency? What do you need the money for?
  • current certificate of enrollment (PDF)
  • Bank statements from all (!) your accounts for the last three months up to the date of application (PDF)
  • You have the option of uploading other documents and evidence .
