FLUX - The TV teaching and learning editorial team at the Folkwang University of the Arts
Since the winter semester 2016|17, the TV teaching and learning editorial team FLUX has been in place at the Folkwang University of the Arts. The project is funded by the State Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia and is the first TV teaching and learning editorial team at an arts university in the state to offer media skills training. The project was initiated by Prof. Dr. Adrian Niegot, Professor of Music Education at the Folkwang University of the Arts. Academic directors and lecturers are the musician and media producer Prof. Christian Börsing and the journalist and media trainer Frank Hartung.
The editorial team consists of students who want to gain practical experience in the production of audiovisual media for their future careers. In weekly editorial meetings, the participants gain knowledge about radio and television production and conduct independent editorial conferences. The team's aim is to regularly produce their own programs, which will be broadcast on NRWision.de and elsewhere. The learning and test channel has a reach of around four million households in North Rhine-Westphalia.
