folkwang is... writing instead of speaking
The 2nd year Physical Theatre class and Professor Thomas Buts actually wanted to start working on spoken texts as well as dialogic and scenic exercises in mid-March. But then the coronavirus pandemic intervened. The students and their professor reacted quickly - and quickly turned the voice lessons into a digital writing workshop in which they wrote texts with the help of video chat services, held sessions in "automatic writing" and thus dealt with their own authorship. The results of these lessons were then incorporated into an overall graphic concept and published as the "thought jumps Quaranzine".
