  • born on 3rd March 1964 in Detmold
  • Degree in Applied Theatre Studies, Justus-Liebig University, Gießen (study under Andrzej Wirth and Heiner Müller – amongst others)
  • Copywriter in Düsseldorf, Agentur BMZ
  • Eight years in television (RTL) in the areas of corporate presentation and corporate communications
  • Freelance journalist for radio and print (cultural editor)
  • Since 2001 spokesperson, Director of Communications & Media at the Folkwang University of the Arts, since 2020 Director of University Communications
  • From 2005 to 2008 board member of the German Association of University Communications; chair of the spokespersons of German-language Art and Music Universities
  • 2012 to 2019 German representative in the Steering Committee of EUPRIO (European Association of Communication professionals in Higher Education)
  • Since March 2009 deputy chair of the NRW National Association of University Communications
