
Lokale Angebote in Essen-Werden (Hauptbibliothek)
The Folkwang Unviersity of the Arts library has three branches on different campuses. The main library is on Essen- Werden campus. Smaller branches are located in Duisburg and in Bochum at the Folkwang Theatre Centre.

Holdings
The library holds a collection of about 200,000 items, comprising mostly books, music, journals, CDs and DVDs. The largest collection is housed in the new library building on Essen-Werden Campus. You can browse the collection online using the classic online catalogue or the new library search engine KatalogPlus.
Facilities and services
Most items in the library are accessible on the shelves and may be browsed and checked out during opening hours. Some items, however, are for reference only. In some cases, a one-day-loan exception is possible during service hours.

Holdings
The library holds 15,000 items, primarily books, journals, music, CDs and DVDs. You can brows the book collection using the online catalogue, the music collection is still being added to the database so you may need to search the card catalogue in the library.
Facilities
There are 6 computer work stations with internet access available in Room 3.
The library on Bochum Campus is only open to Folkwang members and holds 2,100 items that may be checked out using the self check out machine. The collection can be searched using the online catalogue.
