Institute for Art and Design Science of the Folkwang University of the Arts

The Institute for Art and Design Science of the Folkwang University of the Arts is dedicated to the young discipline of design science and the history of design in its entire spectrum. Art and design science is covered by research and teaching. 

The institute assumes responsibility for the range of sciences for the Design Faculty study courses.  

It is responsible for organising and conducting the "Art and Design Science" Master study course while – among other things – also regulating cooperation with the Institute for Art and Science of Art at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
