Our offers for you

We are the contact point both for students at the Folkwang University of the Arts in all academic phases and prospective students as well as their relatives. We would be delighted to be of assistance to you with all questions and problems relating directly or indirectly to your study (see below). If you are not getting anywhere on your own, we will gladly support you in communicating with internal and external bodies in study-related matters.
Starting from your individual situation, we would like to provide you with decision-making support and identify solutions for you. The advice is confidential, free and available either in German or English. You are welcome to contact us in person, by telephone or email during our consulting hours or, alternatively, by individual arrangement. For longer discussions, we would request a prior appointment to be made.

Furthermore, in cooperation with the faculties and other service facilities we offer introductory events at the start of a study course as well as study-related information events in the course of the study. We also provide information to prospective students at a wide range of Information Days, say, at the Music Study Course Information Day of the Landesmusikakademie Heek (Regional Music Academy) or at the School Information Day at the University of Duisburg-Essen.

For a subject-related student advisory service, say, for the purpose of assessing your artistic performance level, please contact the teaching staff of the relevant study course or visit the Study Course Information  Days of the individual study courses and faculties. Appointments for portfolio advice for the Photography, Industrial Design and Communication Design Bachelor study courses are coordinated by Sonja Zenker.
