Application to take part in the aptitude test
We are glad that you would like to register for the artistic aptitude test for Folkwang University of the Arts. On the page below you will find a link to the online application form.
An important note about the application process:
When you click on “Open application form” you will be directed to the first page of the form. Please enter all of the information required. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. Continue in this way to the end of the form. Your details will be saved until you close the window or have finished the application. At the end, you can check all the information and correct it if necessary.
Please note that you need for the process the free Adobe Acrobat Reader: http://get.adobe.com/de/reader/
A PDF file is created from the information you provide, which you have to print out, sign and – together with other documents – send to us by post. Only then can your application for the Artistic Aptitude Examination be considered as fully submitted to us.
Please note that the receipt of your application in the university is decisive for a timely application. Applications received after the end of the application deadline cannot be considered.
Please note: we must have received your application documents in paper form not later than the application deadline - otherwise it will not be possible to process them.
We will store your personal details (name, contact data, marital status, country of origin) beforehand for the purpose of facilitating the procedure.
Please refrain from making enquiries in the meantime concerning the receipt and processing status of your application. If you want to make sure that we have received your application, then please either send your application by registered post, or alternatively, enclose an addressed postcard with sufficient postage, which we can then return to you.
A fee of €50 must be paid for the application and a receipt must be enclosed with the application.
No fees are applicable for all study courses in the Design Faculty!
If you are applying for more than one course at the same time, a fee of €50 must be paid for the first application and a fee of €15 must be paid for every other application. The amount to be paid will be automatically calculated in the application form and displayed for you.
Important: Participation in the qualifying examination is not possible without this evidence of payment. A refund of the fee is not possible; this obtains also the case of a withdrawal of the application.
