eduroam (Education Roaming) is an European initiative, with the intention of providing employees, teaching staff and students at the locations of all participating
organisations with internet access. eduroam is not only available in many organisations in Europe, but also outside Europe. Access to WLAN eduroam
is possible for you by logging on with your folkwang Email adress and your password.
eduroam-WLAN at the Folkwang University of the Arts, can be used in central areas, including the canteen and the library. More up-to-date information is available at: www.folkwang-uni.de/wlan-map
Employees, teaching staff and students, who have received their own login info from the Folkwang University of the Arts, can get a WLAN connection. Guests from other institutions have to use the access data from their home institution.
External user can use eduroam with the access data from their home institution.
By using the folkwang-uni.de identifier (as also used for the intranet) and the associated password, it is possible to obtain a WLAN connection for all notebooks and smartphones.
For the installation you need an active internet connection and then follow the instructions on https://cat.eduroam.org or you can use the available app for android smartphones from the Google Playstore or Amazon App Store.
