Entry prices

For events at the Folkwang University of the Arts – unless indicated otherwise –  €5.-  (Concession: €3)

The concession price is available to school and university students, people on non-military public service (Zivildienst), soldiers, unemployed (on showing official notification of grant status), seniors (with a City of Essen senior’s card), people with severe disabilities (reduced earning capacity of 70% or more).


Members of the GFFF receive one free ticket for each event on showing their membership card.

Folkwang University students are entitled to one free ticket for every project. They also receive a 50% discount on any further tickets.

Tickets for all events can also be purchased at any of the Folkwang University of the Arts locations!

Note

In all cases, advance ticket sales begin on the 1st of the month before the event (or on the first working day thereafter).

Pre-ordered tickets

Please note: pre-ordered tickets will be sold if they are not picked up by half an hour before the starting time of the event.

No entry is possible after the event has begun. Latecomers can only be admitted at the end of the first scene/movement.


Programme changes

The Folkwang University of the Arts is an educational institution and many of our events are part of an examination. For this reason it can often happen that performances are cancelled at short notice.

Therefore we specially request our guests from outside to follow the daily press and make use of the information on the Internet. Dates and times of events are given there and updated daily. Information regarding last-minute changes is also available by phone at 0201_4903-231, from a recorded message outside office hours. We appreciate your understanding!
