Basic information "Industrial Design" (B. A.)
Admission requirements
_evidence of qualification for entry (general or subject-specific university entrance certificate)
_evidence of artistic skill
_evidence of sufficient language competence for the course of study selected
_Applicants without a secondary school certificate may also be admitted, provided that they exhibit outstanding artistic talent.
_A qualifying examination will be conducted.
Costs
_applying for the study course Industrial Design no application fees have to be paid
_Each semester all students have to pay a social contribution for the services of the Student Union, a student contribution for the work of the AStA (General Student Comittee) and the VRR/NRW ticket. A breakdown of the amounts plus information on how to pay is available here.
Application deadline
Studies start at winter semester only. Application documents must be submitted from Wed, April 24 to Fri, April 26 2013 (from 9 am to 3 pm on each of these days) to the Design Faculty, c/o University of Duisburg-Essen – Campus Essen, Universitätsstr. 12, 45141 Essen, building R12 S02 (2nd floor), corridor H in room: R12 S02 H17.
Attention! Important date! The application procedure is a two-stage process. Applicants, who are admitted to the second round, will be invited to an admission interview. The dates will be published soon.
